Britt is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).  She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Carleton University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Britt has experience working with individuals (children, teens, and adults) as well as couples, for various mental health concerns such as grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, and trauma. Her goal is to create a safe space for you to process feelings in a non-judgemental environment, where you can feel seen and validated. 
 
Britt works from an evidence-based perspective, integrating cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), mindfulness and self-compassion. Britt works collaboratively with clients to develop healthy coping strategies, and a sense of self-understanding.
 
Britt is currently offering virtual and in-person appointments to individuals 10+ and couples. She would be honoured to support you on your mental health journey.
